DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer is a printing method where designs are printed onto a special PET film using a DTF printer, then coated with an adhesive powder, and finally heat-pressed onto fabric. This method allows for vibrant, durable, and flexible prints on a variety of materials, including cotton, polyester, blends, and even non-textile surfaces.

How DTF Transfer Works:

1. Print the Design: A DTF printer prints the design onto a special PET film using CMYK and white inks.
2. Apply Adhesive Powder: A hot-melt powder is sprinkled over the printed design to help it bond to fabric.
3. Cure the Powder: The film is heated to melt the powder, ensuring strong adhesion.
4. Transfer to Fabric: The film is heat-pressed onto the fabric at around 300°F-325°F for 10-15 seconds.
5. Peel the Film: Once cooled, the film is peeled off, leaving the design permanently transferred.

How to apply DTF transfer;

• Position your DTF Transfer on the print area of the product you want to apply it to.
• Press your DTF transfer at 320°F-160°C for cotton and 50% cotton/50% polyester 15 seconds.
• Let cool for 15 seconds, then peel and press again.

Vector files such as AI and PDF are always recommended. JPG, PNG and TIF files can be uploaded. Files should be at least 300 dpi.
